CHOC Connections: Annual Report 2012

ar2012_coverimageEveryone in Orange County is somehow connected to CHOC Children’s. If it’s not your own children that have been treated by our team of pediatric experts, chances are you know a few that have. Among friends, neighbors, coworkers, even people we encounter in our daily travels—CHOC is a common bond we all share. And being connected to CHOC means being connected to our physicians, nurses, Associates, volunteers and supporters who are dedicated to bringing world-class pediatric care to our community.

If you really think about it, perhaps a coworker is part of one of the Guilds of CHOC, or has a spouse that has donated blood at CHOC. Maybe your neighbor is one of our oncology nurses, or a member of the construction crew that has almost finished building our new patient care tower. You could be one of over 40,000 people we engage daily through social media. Your friendly postal carrier might even volunteer as a deejay for CHOC’s in-house radio station. It’s what makes us a community and brings us all together—our shared commitment to nurturing, advancing and protecting the health and well-being of our children. And, thankfully, we’re all connected to CHOC.
